DESCRIPTION:Les DeMerle is offering his popular Drums Are Fun Summer Camp – a great way to introduce all musicians to rhythm and the basics of drumming. The 3-day camp will be held June 9\, 10 and 11 at the Arts Alive Nassau building in Yulee. Hours of camp are 10 a.m. to noon. \nDe Merle\, a world-renowned drummer\, clinician\, bandleader\, and founder and artistic director of the Amelia Island Jazz Festival\, has toured and recorded with the Harry James Big Band from 1970 to 1982.
