Our captains will guide you through the waterways unveiling the captivating history and diverse wildlife of the area. You will board one of our 45\, 75\, or 120 passenger boats\, led by entertaining U.S. Coast Guard certified captains\, promising a safe\, delightful\, immersive\, and educational journey. \nThis 2 1/2-hour tour flies by as we travel further north into Georgia than any of our other tours. This is our longest cruise\, and it offers the most opportunity to see the wildlife\, and the longest amount of time to hear about the area’s fascinating history. \nWe will look for dolphins\, sea turtles\, shore birds\, and of course the wild horses of Cumberland Island. You will hear of the Timucua and pirates\, railroad tycoons\, the civil war\, and notable names such as Rockefeller\, Carnegie\, and Kennedy.

SUMMARY:2025 Amelia Island Book Festival
DESCRIPTION:The annual Amelia Island Book Festival will continue on Saturday\, March 1st with The Authors’ Expo and Readers’ Extravaganza at Fernandina Beach Middle School from 10am-4pm. This is a free event to our community and the most prominent way for guests to take part in our Festival. During the Festival\, there will be opportunities to engage with authors in an up-close and personal way while over 100 authors showcase and sell their books. The Festival will have Author Break-Out Sessions and Panel Discussions throughout the day with our ten featured authors. \nWe’re honored to welcome back our former Honorary Chairman\, David Baldacci\, to participate in an author panel discussion with a book signing to follow! We are so excited to expand the Kids Zone this year with fun games\, activities\, a bounce house\, children’s author book signings\, food trucks\, and more! We’re thrilled to host our local Olympian\, Poe Pinson\, and her dad Kenny Pinson\, as they share about their children’s book\, Poey and Click. We’ll also have local author Lizzette Harris sharing her children’s book\, Marcus Finds Fantastic Flavors\, with her son. \nThis is a family-friendly event and we encourage children of all ages to come out! There will be many opportunities to celebrate literacy in a casual\, fun\, festive atmosphere.
