SUMMARY:An afternoon with a Survivor of October 7th
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an afternoon with a survivor of October 7th here in Amelia Island! \nIrene Shavit\, a 23-year-old from Bitzaron\, was living with her partner\, Netta\, in Kfar Aza when their lives were shattered on October 7\, 2023. After receiving news that terrorists murdered Netta’s grandmother and uncle\, they hid in their safe room. When the terrorists broke in\, Netta sacrificed himself by jumping on a grenade to save Irene. She survived by hiding under his body until she was rescued by the IDF hours later. \nJoin us to bear witness as Irene shares her experience of narrowly surviving the October 7th massacre. Her story and presence will inspire us all with strength and resilience. \nThe event site is TBA and will include a 40-minute presentation followed by a Q&A session where Irene will answer all of your questions. RSVP online.
