About Island Art Association

The Co-operative gallery is owned and operated exclusively by local artists. It provides venues for approximately 200 Nassau County artists to show and sell their works in most fine arts media: painting, mixed media, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, stained glass, photography and fiber art. The IAA provides workshops for children and adults and hosts presentations and exhibits for all age groups. Themed juried shows are exhibited every two months. IAA also juries the Arts and Crafts Show for the annual Shrimp Festival, held the first weekend of May. 


Hours: Mon–Thur, 10:30am–5pm; Fri–Sat, 10:30am–8pm; Sun, 10:30am–5pm
