Chef Bill Thompson, owner of Island Kitchen and the Amelia Island Culinary Academy believes that our community of small farms in northeast Florida grows the highest-quality, freshest, and most sustainable products on the market. Island Kitchen sources their produce, grains, and proteins locally whenever possible so that they can serve food that is good for body, community, and nature. Items you can see on the menu include fresh Mozzarella Tomato Salad; Pimento Cheese Grilled Cheese sandwich made with bacon crumbles, fresh tomatoes and melty pimento cheese; and an Island Chicken & Rice Bowl made with marinated chicken, steamed rice, tzatziki, shaved carrot and radish, and marinated cucumber red onion salad. All menu items are made to order for a farm-to-table lunch experience that is fast, fresh, and approachable. Also serving beer.
