Authors and readers come together for three days of sharing books and experiences at events that encourage the exchange of ideas, February 14-16, 2019. The February 16, Saturday Expo is open all day to the general public at the Fernandina Beach Middle School, while other events, in other venues require tickets for admission. They are: Kick Off Luncheon, Face Off Gala, Nosh with the Rock Chick, Writers' Workshop, Tween & Teen Scene, Encouraging young people to become engaged readers is one of the Book Festival's priorities. That's why the Festival Includes its "Authors in Schools" program, providing books to Nassau County schools while bringing Festival authors to the schools to speak and spend time with students. Amelia Island Book Festival is a 501(c ) 3 nonprofit organization that welcomes supporters and volunteers.Amelia Island Book Festival is now in its 18th year, bringing books and the love of reading to island residents and visitors.
