Are you a foodie - or would you like to cook like one? Following on the heels of the successful Fish to Fork event the Resort hosted in May with the James Beard Foundation, Omni Amelia Island Plantation is presenting its first annual coastal culinary getaway, the Fish to Fork Culinary Academy.
Kicking off with a welcome reception and dinner at The Sprouting Project (Executive Chef Daven Wardynski's
very own greenhouse) and garden, guests will enjoy chef-led cooking classes, exceptional meals and wine, and a private tasting at the signature Rum + Tequila experience.
While there is definitely a focus on farm-to-table cuisine, this weekend takes advantage of the bounty surrounding Amelia Island with dock-to-dish specialties.
The package rate of $2,400 (based on double occupancy) includes:
- Two nights oceanfront accommodations
- Friday night dinner for two
- Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner and private tasting for two
- Sunday brunch with champagne
