As cooler weather settles in to Amelia Island,  it's the perfect time get outside and explore Amelia’s natural treasures through a variety of fun excursions – from river cruises and kayaking, to stand-up paddleboarding, Segways and much more. Amelia River Cruises takes you out on the water with  several cruise options, including a Cumberland Island Tour, Beach Creek Tour and Adult Twilight “BYOB” Cruise. Every Thursday in October, guests can take part in the Classic Rock Trivia Cruise, offering two hours of trivia, classic rock tunes, and phenomenal views of the sunset over the river.   They also offer private charters. Kayak Amelia and Omni Amelia Island Plantation both offer kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and Segway excursions. Kayak Amelia (link to Kayak Amelia Site or listing) offers daily Segway tours of Kingsley Plantation and Point Isabel, as well as kayaking and SUP tours such as a kayak eco-tour of Kingsley Plantation and a “BarHopping” trip - sandbar, that is. Amelia Island Kayak Excursions offer sunset paddles on the Amelia River, which travel blogger Lynda Galea enjoyed this month. Omni Amelia Island Plantation's Amelia's Wheels features five Segway tour options: SeaBreeze, Seaside, Back to Nature, Family Safari and Junior Segway tours. The Omni Nature Center also offers a number of Adventure and Ecology tours, such as kayaking, paddleboarding, bike hikes, bird watching, and marsh walk tours. There is a vast array of other excursions available on Amelia Island, such as fishing charters, horseback riding on the beach, Jet Ski tours and much more. Visit us for a full list of what we have to offer.
