From January 18-27, the rich and varied culinary landscape of Amelia Island gets extra yummy with the return of Restaurant Week, featuring two signature events and an array of special prix-fixe menus for lunch and dinner.  Here are some highlights you won't want to miss.

Salt and Savor Kickoff Dinner at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island
Executive Chef Garrett Gooch, Salt Chef de Cuisine Rick Laughlin, Coast Chef de Cuisine Niko Anagnostou and Executive Pastry Chef Sheldon Millett partner to present a Salt-inspired four-course dinner on Wednesday, January 16th.  The event begins at 6 p.m. with a light hors d’oeuvres reception overlooking the breathtaking dunes and ocean, followed by delights including tuna tartare, lemon gnocci, sous vide short rib, artisan chocolate and a Caramelia whipped Ganache. Dinner with paired wines commences at 6:45 p.m. with a Ritz-Carlton chef introducing each course.

A world of participating restaurants all around the island.  From Spanish to Creole to seafood to pub favorites, downtown to the South end, there are menus for every taste, dinner prix fixe options at 21, $31 or $41. 
And for lunch, you'll find a variety of prix-fixe menus at $12.

Sea and Sky Finale Dinner
Raise a glass and celebrate the close of the 2019 Amelia Island Restaurant Week on January 26th with the Sea & Sky Finale Dinner at Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort. Drawing inspiration from the island’s rich natural surroundings, Executive Chef Todd Ruiz will take guests on a culinary journey from our local waters to the limitless sky.  This four-course menu will feature fresh local seafood and farm-to-table poultry in a creative combination of flavors, all while utilizing The Sprouting Project organic garden and greenhouse. Cocktails at 6, dinner at 7,Sunrise CafĂ©
$95 per person (includes tax and gratuity; does not include $5.95 online reservation fee)
