. Restaurant Week offers a great opportunity to try a selection of Amelia’s irresistible, award-winning dining options. More than 30 participating restaurants will offer a prix-fixe menu, including three courses and a non-alcoholic beverage, at either $19 or $29 per person. On January 15th, The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island will host a Restaurant Week kick-off dinner and you are invited to join in a "Tribute to Modern Southern Cuisine," starting with a wine tasting and hors d'oeuvres at 6 p.m. and followed by a seated dinner that will feature courses prepared by chefs from The Salty Pelican, Espana, 29 South, and two chefs at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island (which is also home to the AAA 5-Diamond restaurant, Salt.) This year's Restaurant Week has a new twist (the kind that comes in a cocktail glass) with the addition of four special Mixology Tours. On January 16th, 17th, 23rd, and 24th, you can enjoy a relaxed stroll visiting four watering holes in Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach where you can sample craft cocktails, meet the fun and creative people behind the bars, and learn about the Island's colorful past.
