Located minutes from the historic downtown Fernandina area and across the street from the island’s famous beaches, the 86-room Amelia Hotel at the Beach is offering an Island Spring Special through the end of May with rates starting as low as $89.  Plus, the hotel is offering a Family Summer Package for $599 (plus tax).  The package includes two nights for two adults and two kids in a standard room, two kites, a beach tote, beach buckets, and a certificate for dinner for four one evening at the Crab Trap.  Packages exclude holiday and special events and are subject to availability. Nestled among 1,350 acres of natural splendor, the AAA-Four Diamond Amelia Island Plantation is offering several packages.  The Family Value Days package offers accommodations in a two-bedroom villa, family recreation including Kids Camp Amelia, on-property Nature Tours bicycles, etc., kids under 13 eat free, and kids under 16 play golf and tennis free with a paying adult. The package starts at $229 per night resort or $279 per night oceanview, and is valid through the end of May. The resort also is offering a fourth night free deal for visitors who pay for three nights. The deal includes a 25 percent discount on Golf, Tennis, Nature Tours, Bicycle Rentals and Youth Programs. Discount is available through the end of May and is subject to availability.

With its crystal chandeliers and beautiful antiques, the 10-room Amelia Island Williams House bed and breakfast has a number of unique packages for guests.  Starting at $495, the B&B’s Celebrate Spring package is available for the month of April, and includes a spring basket filled with goodies, gourmet breakfast each morning, sunset wine and hors d’oeuvres each evening, and two tickets for the Amelia Island River Cruise.  In May, guests can book the Garden Tour and Tea package, which includes a two night stay, two tickets to the Amelia Island Bed & Breakfast Association’s Spring Garden Tour and Tea, a Victorian "Tussie Mussie" for Mom and gourmet breakfast each morning. Ash Street Inn, a contemporary, sophisticated bed and breakfast located in the historic district of downtown Fernandina Beach, is offering a “Stimulus Savings” discount of up to $60 per night.  Prices begin at $119 per night for standard rooms and $199 per night for deluxe rooms, which include luxuriously large whirlpool tubs and balconies/porches. Located directly on the Atlantic Ocean, the Beachside Motel is offering special rates from March through May. Ocean view or efficiency rooms start at $99 on weekdays and $129 on weekends.
