Chamber Music Festival
In May and June, the nationally-renowned Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival returns for it's eighth season. The Festival will showcase world-class artists performing classical music to diverse audiences in intimate and historic settings on Amelia Island. The Festival is held at various venues throughout the Island and Fernandina Beach, and is dedicated to bringing classical music at the highest level to the general public, schools and senior centers. In 2009, the Festival will feature 18 performances, including the Juilliard and Guarneri String Quartets, Jennifer Koh, Bobby McDuffie, Anne Akiko Meyers, Andres Diaz, Anne-Marie McDermott and the Eroica Trio. CD Written for Amelia Island
World renowned violinist Rafael Javadov recently released a new CD named for and inspired by Amelia Island, Florida. Surf's Up on Amelia Island
With summer right around the corner, now is the time to start planning your sunny escape to Amelia. This summer, you can grab a board and hit the surf on the island.
