As the 2004 Orvis Endorsed Guide of the Year, Capt. Russell Tharin is passionate about fly fishing and light tackle fishing on the beautiful flats of Amelia Island. We fish for redfish and spotted sea trout year round, and our migratory fish in season, such as spanish mackerel, ladyfish, bluefish, jack crevelle and sharks. Capt. Russell is a certified master fly casting instructor and offers both beginning and advanced lessons. Janet and Russell offer a personalized birding and eco tour, also a wine and cheese tour at sunset. Janet's passion as a naturalist and birder tells the story of a barrier island and will offer you intimate encounters with wildlife. Russell's love of photography will bring you up close and personal with many animals and birds with his photo tours.
