Amelia Island Thanks Florida Teachers with Special Rates, Discounts

AMELIA ISLAND (March 29, 2010) – In appreciation of the state’s hard-working educators, Florida’s Amelia Island is offering special rates and discounts to all Florida teachers. In partnership with the Amelia Island Convention and Visitors Bureau, four of the island destination’s award-winning accommodators are offering deals that put teachers at the head of the class.

Florida teachers can take advantage of special discounts at the following locations:

The Addison on Amelia (www.AddisonOnAmelia.com) is offering a “Dog Days of Summer” for teachers. Valid August 1 through September 31, the bed and breakfast is offering a fourth night free with three nights purchased. This discount cannot be combined with other offers.

Amelia Island Plantation wants to thank Florida teachers by offering them a $159* rate in a resort-view room with 50% off recreation – including golf, tennis, on-property nature tours, bicycle rentals and youth programs.
