Underground Kitchen (UK) features a daily seasonal menu based on the best local produce availability, as well as a monthly special celebrating a particular region or cuisine from around the world, showcasing Kenny’s diverse international cooking style. Past special themes have included Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Indian, Caribbean and Latin cuisines.  In addition to the international specials, UK also serves as a culinary think tank for traveling, young and visiting chefs from around the country to demonstrate their talent. Unique guest chef dinner events will be announced on a monthly basis on Mondays, and will be ticketed for an all-inclusive price.

Specialties: Mayport Shrimp and Grits, Alligator Ribs, Smothered Organic Chicken and Dumplings. Gluten Free and Vegetarian options available.  

Hours: Mon-Sat, 11am-9pm; closed Sunday

nice dinner

We had a nice dinner at Gilbert's, I had a combo plate and really liked the sausage and pulled pork but I thought the rib had too much fat, I didn't like it.
