Underground Kitchen (UK) features a daily seasonal menu based on the best local produce availability, as well as a monthly special celebrating a particular region or cuisine from around the world, showcasing Kenny’s diverse international cooking style. Past special themes have included Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Indian, Caribbean and Latin cuisines.  In addition to the international specials, UK also serves as a culinary think tank for traveling, young and visiting chefs from around the country to demonstrate their talent. Unique guest chef dinner events will be announced on a monthly basis on Mondays, and will be ticketed for an all-inclusive price. 

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Specialties: Mayport Shrimp and Grits, Alligator Ribs, Smothered Organic Chicken and Dumplings. Gluten Free and Vegetarian options available.  

Hours: Mon-Sat, 11am-9pm; closed Sunday

We dined at the Fernandina Location tonight and we did not enjoy at all. The pimento cheese was not mixed entirely and there were large chunks of cream cheese in it. The veggies served with it were...

In town for a business meeting.... held over due to weather.... needed a place to Eat so ended up at Gilberts.... you name it we had it GREAT! Ribs will fall off the bone, burnt ends are great...
