Three day Nature Festival during the thrid weekend of May, with educational activities year-round, including, but not limited to, a series of nature forums called Wild Nites; nature photography classes in the community and in community organizations; road and beach cleanups; the publication of a nature photography calendar; participation in community festivals and exhibits; sea turtle releases in cooperation with the Georgia Sea Turtle Center
