Elizabeth Pointe Lodge

Posted on July 01, 2014 |

Elizabeth Pointe was picked by Gwyneth Paltrow’s goop.com as a destination for last-minute holiday travel:  "This place oozes Nantucket-style, shingle-lodge B&B charm - only you're on the beach in Florida."

The Elizabeth Pointe Lodge got new owners this spring - Jim and Gay Dunlop, who came to a seminar about owning an inn at the Pointe 15 years ago. The luxurious oceanfront boutique hotel has twenty guest rooms in the Main House, an 1890’s Nantucket shingle-style Inn with a maritime theme, while the adjacent Ocean House is the latest re-creation that offers larger suites that have been decorated with a West Indies flair. The third building on the oceanfront compound is the Miller Cottage which has a two-bedroom suite, a well-suited destination for a larger family.
